Sep.08 -- The outgoing chief of Thailand’s central bank says its current monetary policy is accommodative enough and further interest-rate cuts would be less effective in reviving the economy from its pandemic-driven downturn. Bank of Thailand Governor Veerathai Santiprabhob adds that the challenge now is to address the insolvency problems, not so much the liquidity problem.
