Covid-19 Hits the Performing Arts Industry



Sep.07 -- Ticketmaster and Live Nation saw a new round of furloughs according to Variety. It's just the latest news to hit the live performance industry. In fact fine and performing arts industries have seen estimated losses of nearly 1.4 million jobs and $42.5 billion in sales according to a Brookings Study. Bloomberg's Vonnie Quinn spoke with Len Egert, national executive director of the American Guild of Musical Artists, a labor union that represents artists, dancers and production staff across the country, on "Bloomberg Markets."
