Oct.22 -- Tech giant Alibaba's logistics unit Cainiao expects a record sales from China's shopping bonanza Double 11 festival. For many retailers, this event is the single biggest growth driver every year and this year will be no exception. China's retail sales surged to 3% in September from 0.5% in the previous month, underlining the return of the mainland consumers. Chief Executive Wan Lin adds he expects a 30% gain in the number of parcels handled this year. Wan spoke exclusively with Bloomberg's Tom Mackenzie at the company headquarter in Hangzhou, China.
