Nov.05 -- Randall Kroszner, a former Federal Reserve Governor and now a professor of economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, discusses the central bank's policy and the outlook for the economy. Fed Chair Jerome Powell stressed the economy needs more fiscal and monetary policy support, and warned that mounting coronavirus infection rates are a risk. The Fed earlier kept the federal funds target rate in a range of zero to 0.25% and maintained bond purchases at $120 billion a month. Kroszner speaks on "Bloomberg Daybreak: Australia."
