Gold falls by Rs 764, silver tumbles Rs 1,592

The precious metal had closed at Rs 53,111 per 10 grams in the previous trade.Silver also tumbled by Rs 1,592 to Rs 58,277 per kg from Rs 59,869 per kg in the previous trade."Gold prices at MCX witnessed lower openings reflecting overnight fall in COMEX prices," said Tapan Patel, Senior Analyst (Commodities) at HDFC Securities.
